Hi, I’m Heena, the hands (and heart) behind Crafty Diaries. I’m a passionate crafter, a lifelong learner, and a mom to a curious 5-year-old son who keeps my days busy and my imagination even busier.
How it started
I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was the one saving ribbons, collecting paper scraps, and turning “nothing” into small treasures. Crafting was my happy place which is quiet, creative, and full of possibilities.
Why I’m here now
Then life got serious: I pursued my PhD, and for a while, crafting took a backseat to deadlines, research, and long days. But motherhood brought something unexpected, it gave me both the time and the purpose to create again. Crafting became a way to slow down, build memories, and show my son (and myself) that beautiful things can come from patience and play.
